Community News

We all love living in Southern Utah. One of the reasons why is there is always so much to do here. We’ve received notification of many great events in our community and would like to share that information with our Crimson View families. Check it out below!

Dixie Power Kite Festival ( – CLICK HERE
Each year our WCSD Foundation and Dixie Power team up to promote reading! This great family event will be held this coming Saturday, April 13 from 10am to 7pm at the Encampment Mall on DSU’s campus! Every student can receive a FREE kite, book or $10 voucher for activities at the event. Plan now to enjoy this wonderful family event.

DSU Community Outreach: WCSD has a great relationship with Dixie State University and I am so grateful to have such a great university in our midst. DSU has many events throughout the year that are great for families. Here are a few events coming right up:

  • On April 20, from 9:30 to 12:00 there will be a Brooks’ Buddies Easter Egg Hunt at Bruce Hurst Field — more info … CLICK HERE.
  • Spring DSU Sports – CLICK HERE for more info! Football camp is this Saturday at 3pm!!
