Hi Wildcat Families,

We’ve had a great few days! It’s been wonderful to have students back in school! Everyone is looking sharp with fresh haircuts, cute outfits and spiffy new shoes!

Thanks for being flexible with the schedule this week. Having the early release each day gives our teachers the opportunity to meet individually with every child in their class to get some beginning year baseline data. It also helps us know exactly how to help your child the very best.

I hope to clear up any confusion you may have regarding lunch on early release days or on a Friday. We received guidance that any student who would like to eat a school lunch needs to have the opportunity to do so during our school day. On early release days each grade level will be scheduled for about 15 minutes of eating time. Each grade level is handling this a bit differently, but every student will have the same opportunity to choose one of the following:

  • purchase a lunch from the school
  • bring a home lunch, or snack
  • don’t purchase or bring anything and wait to eat until they get home (12pm dismissal)

Please make sure that your student knows what you expect them to do with regards to lunch, especially on these early release days.

If you have additional questions, please ask!

Thanks again for your continued support! We’ve started strong and hope to keep that momentum rolling! We’ve got the best students, the best parents, and the best teachers and staff!

Let’s go Wildcats!! This is how legends are made!
