I have three big items to share – please take the time to review each item:

School Community Council (https://cves.washk12.org/community-council/) – Our Community Council is a great way to be involved at our school. We have three parent vacancies – elections are happening NOW. Please see our Election Notice for additional information. 2023-24 SCC Election Notice Our first Community Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct 10 at 3:45pm.
Egg Drop (https://cves.washk12.org/pta-eggdrop/) – get EGG-cited … it’s time for our annual Egg Drop! Packets will come home with your student on Oct 2. Students will collect donations through Oct 9. Then our Egg Drop Day will be Oct 20.
PTA Reflections (https://cves.washk12.org/pta-reflections/) – “I am hopeful because …” is the theme for this year’s celebration of the arts. Projects will be due Oct 20. Additional information and submission links available at the webpage linked above.
