November Update

Wildcat Families —

Thanks for continuing to support our school! It is so great to partner with you in helping to provide wonderful learning opportunities for your children. Next Friday will be the last day of our first trimester. One third of the school year has zipped on by. SEP Conferences will be taking place the week of Nov 8~12, and our schedule will be adjusted to dismiss at 12pm each day that week, with individual conference appointments to follow. Parents will be able to schedule an appointment beginning next Monday, Nov 1 by using the link on our school website (https://cves.washk12.org). Our goal is 100% parent participation at our SEP Conferences. Please do all you can to make this a priority. As a school, we know how valuable you are in helping your child succeed in school. Our theme for the year is spot on … "We're Better Together!"

Below you'll find a couple of information items, CCHS is having a fun family band night next week, and also information about the annual Coins for Kids Christmas Assistance program is also shared.

Halloween was a blast here at school, thanks for coming out and enjoying our costume parade. I hope you can continue to celebrate and enjoy this fun time of year as a family. Keep reading, keep smiling!

CCHS Fall Band Night – Wednesday, November 3rd, from 6 to 7:30pm our high school Symphonic Band and the Mustang Jazz Band will put on a concert in our commons. It will be pretty informal. We will also have an instrument "petting zoo" where kids of all ages can try out band instruments. There will be a donation drive that the parents and community members can be involved in where we will be raising money for a local elementary school's music program. There will also be treats for everyone! INFORMATION FLYER
