October Update … Halloween, Spirit Week Info

Wildcat Families —

Fall break was beautiful and we're really digging into the school year. I'm so impressed with all the awesome things our students and teachers are working on here at school. We are all trying hard, making great learning gains, and we're also having a good time!

Three Things from the school and one from Ironman to Share:

#1 – Submit something COOL – CLICK HERE – I'm always on the look out for the good things happening at our school. If you see something cool at Crimson View, or hear about something amazing that is happening (or happened) at Crimson View, or want to give a teacher, staff member, student, community member or anyone else involved here at Crimson View a shout out, please take a few moments submit the form linked above. THANKS!

#2 – Halloween – Ready or not … Halloween is almost here. Here's my annual info and suggestions regarding student costumes at school …

  • NO weapons, extreme gore or immodest costumes – WCSD Policy 2200
  • If you have any question as to whether or not it will be allowed then DO NOT have your child wear it to school ~ Keep the school costume as simple as possible.
  • Students should be able to change themselves and use the bathroom without any help. **Practice at Home**

Costume Parade will start at approximately 9:15am around our track (Spread out, bring a chair and enjoy … it can be a long lonely walk on the back side)
**Because of limited parking at our school, consider carpooling with friends and neighbors.

#3 – Spirit Week – Oct 31 thru Nov 4

IronMan 70.3 World Championship will be held here in Washington County this coming Friday and Saturday (Oct 28 & 29)

There should be many opportunities to get involved – here's one for kids!
