Welcome Back Wildcats — Happy New Year!
I hope that each of you had a wonderful Holiday break! It sure was enjoyable to welcome back our students this morning. I saw lots of fresh new outfits, haircuts, and accessories. But my favorite thing of all were the smiles! From what I could tell, I think we’re all glad to be back (even with the slightly gloomy weather)!

Coming up January 16, 17, 18 we will have our 2nd and final SEP Conference for the school year. School will dismiss at 12pm each of those days and SEP appointments will be scheduled from 12:30 to 4pm. We just finished up our MOY (Middle of the Year) assessments and teachers will have lots of current data to share regarding the progress of your student(s). Principal Challenge for 2024 – On Time ALL Day Attendance! Having your student here on time each day really does impact their entire day and helps to set them up for success! Our teachers hit the ground running, and starting out the day in class on time is the best way to start a day here at school. On the other end … having students stay the entire school day and not getting checked out early is equally important. Our teachers really do make the most of each day and when a student is checked out early it makes it more challenging to stay caught up with all the content and instruction. More often than not, the last few hours of the day are science and social study lessons which is typically the “fun” stuff. Every moment here at school matters and I want to encourage and challenge each family to do their very best to make attendance matter – On Time ALL Day!
