January 2023 Update

Wildcat Families —

We’ve nearly made it through January if you can believe it! We’re in the midst of our big academic push here at school. Our students typically show great academic gains as we buckle down and really focus on working hard through January and February. I’ve previously shared my Principal goal of All Day On Time Attendance! Let’s keep working on that! Being here, being on time, staying all day makes a huge difference for your child. Thanks for remembering and doing your best as a family with this goal!

We’ve got an exciting event coming up at our school for our teachers. We have a nationally renowned scientist and STEM teaching guru, Steve Spangler, coming to Crimson View Elementary to do a professional training with our teachers on February 17. (https://stevespangler.com/about-steve-spangler/) We want to give him a huge Crimson View welcome, in order to help our PTA is looking for some volunteers – check your schedule and click on the link to sign up – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4FA4A62CA4FF2-stem

Have you or your child had an awesome experience at Crimson View? I want to hear about it! CLICK HERE to submit something cool about CrimsonView!

Recently I’ve received numerous requests to share information with our families about events happening in town or at our local high schools. Links or attachments can be found below:

Finally, we have a teacher who has recently received some recognition at the state level. Melody Thieme (4th) has been named as UTAH’S 2023 EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING ABOUT AGRICULTURE award recipient! If you know Mrs. Thieme you know she is all in and gives her very best to her students. This is an awesome recognition and spotlights some of the great things happening here at Crimson View!

Keep on Rocking!
